Olive Humphrey is a Canadian illustrator and artist. Olive combines their love for visual art with their affinity for writing, creating stories that mix current issues into fantastical worlds and feature characters that they never got to see represented as a child. Whether it's an illustration, novel, art series, short story, or something new, Olive aims to create connection through their work and to incite deeper thinking.Olive is currently working on the indie project Thicker Than Blood, an illustrated political fantasy webnovel created entirely solo. The story covers themes of power, belonging, and loyalty, and is available to read for free at thicker-than-blood.com. Olive is working towards adapting the webnovel into a 3D-animated TV series.
